Chabot and Brady had bad games and killed many PPs, sucks but I am okay with a game like this

I liked Smith getting Stepan on the ice at the end for a faceoff, just to lose it, again.

If we get a suspension for that hit, the Habs need to have one as well for that crosscheck to the neck. That's exceptionally dangerous. And totally unnecessary with 2 seconds left in the game.

Close game but the guys didn't get embarrassed in a loss so I'm alright with it. You are going to play games like that where you just don't get the bounces you need. Murray kept them in the game and the players kept battling. Not going to be upset about it. Definitely think you can shake the forwards up now and give LBrown or Formenton a game or two.

Stepan seeing 15 minutes of ice is still a big problem. How is he still playing more than Nick Paul?

Murray played well, Jimmy drew a lot of punishment resulting in power plays that ended up being flat. Tkachuk and Chabot were below par tonight, while Brannstrom and Zub looked good again.

Daddy with the effort, but him along with both PP units need to shoot more.

Despite all that, solid effort overall. They should be fired up about Edmonton on Monday.

That crosscheck by Chiarot was unnecessary. I know the league probably won't look at it, but a crosscheck to the back of a guys neck should be a suspension. That's not a hockey play, pretty clear intent to injure IMO.
