Remember to vote based on all factors and not just NHL readiness. Overall skillset, hockey IQ, upside potential vs floor, age, stats, skating ability, array of shots, leadership qualities, size/strenght, etc

Personally, I always ask myself, who would I draft BPA among these players?

Try to do some research on these kids, particularly the most recent ones. People are free to post links and videos about some of the prospects that should be voted soon, or even try to persuade others why a guy should be voted next! Spread info to help people vote.

As we have been doing since 2004, we are going to use the HF criterias for prospect eligibility (less than 65 NHL games and under 25 y/o)

NHL Prospect Criteria - Hockey's Future

However, this year there will be 2 exceptions to AVOID massive turmoil. Like SensBrawler said to me "It's a weird situation due to the shortened season. In most years, they would have easily graduated."

So Tim Stutzle (53 GP) and Josh Norris (59 GP) are going to be considered graduated. The panel of Sens prospect polls experts think that the majority of people would still consider Brannstrom as a prospect, even though he has more games than them (63 GP), so he's going to be among options.

Order of the next prospects to be added :

Benjamin Roger
Kevin Mandolese
Vitali Abramov
Oliver Johansson
Carson Latimer
Philippe Daoust
Viktor Lodin
Maxence Guénette
Jonathan Aspirot
Parker Kelly
Cole Reinhardt
Mark Kastelic
Chandler Romeo
Jakov Novak
Jonny Tychonick
Eric Engstrand
Luke Loheit

Neither Brannstrom or L. Brown make his top ten either, not a surprise. Do you find it interesting that Jarventie would make more on his ELC than Greig who went in the first rd before Jarventie?

For his list .. He says Brannstrom has played over the number of NHL games.. not sure what that number is., Don't know about Brown
I don't know what his criteria is but its different that what we've been using here.

Even if you're down on Brannstrom this is frankly ridiculous and just screams pure sizeism. What has Logan Brown done at this point to be considered #5? Obviously he has latent potential but to have him at #5 and Brannstrom competing (not even alone at his number!) for #15 makes no logical sense.

Gotta go brown here. Great chance he busts or figures it out with another club, but the potential is still there.

Brown and Brannstrom were most likely not eligible for his criterias. Keep in mind, every single person on the planet wants to use his own unique criterias. Formenton is also not there so I'm guessing 30 NHL GP is too many games.

Personally, I don't like a low amount of NHL GP because most of the time it's not enough to have a good idea about what the player will look like as a NHL "finished product". Nick Paul is a pretty good example. He had played already 56 NHL games before the 2019-20 season but it's only that year that we started to see what kind of player he would become. That's why I have always thought that the old HF criterias were a good compromise.

My current Top 15 Sens Prospects (re-thinking it today!):

1- Tim Stutzle
2- Jake Sanderson
--------------------------
3- Josh Norris
4- Shane Pinto
5- Ridly Greig
--------------------------
6- Alex Formenton
7- Erik Brännström
8- Jacob Bernard-Docker
9- Egor Sokolov
10- Mads Søgaard
--------------------------
11- Tyler Boucher
12- Filip Gustavsson
13- Logan Brown
14- Tyler Kleven
15- Roby Jarventie

That's a pretty damn sick top-15 lol.

Only someone like Melnyk could screw that up. Thankfully, we....

If you're referring to how much they make, their contract is identical, Greig just slid this year but his SB was paid out. This makes his cap hit less over the next three seasons

Brannstrom is a good minor league player, but I just don't think he is an NHL player. L. Brown has the size/skill package to succeed in the NHL, but whether he has the head for it is a different question.
