As we have been doing since 2004, we are going to use the HF criterias for prospect eligibility (less than 65 NHL games and under 25 y/o)

NHL Prospect Criteria - Hockey's Future

I have removed prospects who graduated (Jaros, Wolanin, Hogberg, Paul, Zub), were traded (Gruden) or not qualified (Hawryluk, Englund)

Remember to vote based on all factors and not just NHL readiness. Overall skillset, hockey IQ, upside potential vs floor, age, stats, skating ability, array of shots, leadership qualities, size/strenght, etc

Personally, I always ask myself, who would I draft BPA in priority among these players?

Try to do some research on the kids, particularly the new ones. People can post links and videos about some of the prospects that should be voted soon

Its nice being this deep into voting and still having guys I really, really like on the board. Almost too hard for me to choose between JBD and Formenton, but I also really like Greig, Pinto, Jarventie and Abramov (as well as a handful of other guys who I like a lot but just not quite as much).

This one was a tough one for me. To me Formenton has 25G 50P potential and can be a super solid top 6 player in the mold of Chris Kreider, however I think he could also top out as a 2nd/3rd line tweener and only be a ~40 point player. Definite NHL player IMO. JBD on the other hand is also definitely an NHL player, however you could argue that if he pans out at as a #3 or a top pairing supporting D for Chabot he would be more valuable than a player like Formenton even in the upper range. Went with JBD but very close for me.

More to hockey than just points. Formenton is going to be a hell of an all around player. I like Docker but he doesnt have Formentons edge. Not many do. He made team Canada WJC as an 18 year old, is huge with speed to burn.

Wow, Greig over Brown and Greig, Sokolov, and Jarventie over Thomson. Interesting take.
At this point I think Thomson is fortunate to be on that list at all.
I don't know.. My Athletic subscription expired , have not renewed yet.. I am waiting for reduced price offer.

Sokolov over Jarventie was a bit of a "what" moment for me .. but hard to agree with everything from everybody.
