As we have been doing since 2004, we are going to use the HF criterias for prospect eligibility (less than 65 NHL games and under 25 y/o)

NHL Prospect Criteria - Hockey's Future

I have removed prospects who graduated recently (Jaros, Wolanin, Hogberg, Paul, Zub), were traded (Gruden) or not qualified (Hawryluk, Englund)

Remember to vote based on all factors and not just NHL readiness. Overall skillset, hockey IQ, upside potential vs floor, age, stats, skating ability, array of shots, leadership qualities, size/strenght, etc

Personally, I always ask myself, who would I draft BPA in priority among these players?

Try to do some research on the kids, particularly the new ones. People can post links and videos about some of the prospects that should be voted soon

Merilainen should be on the list, he could be a starter one day

Yeah Merilainen looking decent so far. Still early and it's only Finnish U20 but he is clearly outperforming the other goalie on his team who is 2.5 years older (0.928 sv% vs 0.914, similar games played and exact same GAA)

I mean.. so could every other goalie prospect in our organization. You're not exactly making a very strong case for him

Feels like yesterday Lajoie had his 2 point debut and I scooped him in fantasy mid game

Levi Merilainen should really really really be on the list, could be a really really really good starter

He is on the list... just not in the poll options yet, because there's several better and more proven prospects that need to be voted first (probably for the vast majority of voters)

Are you saying he should be added as a poll option for the next poll? Are you actually going to vote for him?

If not, please just ask me to add him when you want to vote for him.

Angus Crookshank has been added in the poll #2 and received his first vote in the poll #17 lol

When we ask to add a prospect it's because we want to vote him, if not it just creates useless traffic in poll options

Funny thing about Chlapik is that he is likely the most NHL ready prospect albeit on a bottom-6 role. Bodes well for the organization to have such depth in the youth pipeline where he ends up so down in the prospect ranking.

I went with Gustavsson for this, think he is a bit underrated at the moment. Soogaard is still a project but has all the tools.
