Prospect Criteria:

A player will be considered a prospect until he meets the following criteria:

If a prospect is a skater (forward, defenseman) and has played in 65 NHL games or more before the completion of the season of his 24th birthday; or, if a goaltender has played in 45 NHL games before the completion of the season of his 24th birthday, that player will be considered graduated to the NHL. Conversely, if a player completes the season of his 24th birthday without passing those milestones, then that player will no longer be considered a prospect by Hockey’s Future, regardless of the player’s status with his NHL club.

An NCAA player who signs his first contract at or above the age of 22 has three years to meet the above criteria (65/45), while those NCAA players that turn pro under the age of 22 will be subjected to
the criteria above.

European players who sign their first NHL contract at or above the age of 22 have three seasons from the time they sign that contract to meet the above criteria. Those European players below the age of 22 that have signed a NHL contract will be subjected to the criteria in section one.

Tell me who to add next.

this is around where wikstrand should be imo

Considering that Wikstrand is 20 and already is in limited SEL games producing like the best defensemen in the SEL well maintaining a positive plus minus i'd say no he should be higher but i have barely seen him play. This is where wideman should be. Guy is basically the only option for a RHD call up atm

Gendron.

Elite skater at his position
Good size at 6'2
Extremely raw (was just moved to defense this season)
Big upside

The scouting staff thought enough of him to make him the 70th overall pick in this years draft. I think he's getting a little underrated around here because he's a long-term project and might not sniff NHL time for 4-5 years, but I think he's got the highest upside out of any player left.

Me too... Is there really that big a gap between Dzingel and McCormick for them to be ranked so far apart?

Probably not. McCormick had solid production for a NCAA forward but Dzingle had a truly outstanding season that really stood out. Could easily see McCormick having a solid year in the AHL but as far as production goes you see a lot of players put up similar numbers in the NCAA
