A disaster like trading up for Karlsson. If Karlsson was so good, then why would the Sens have been allowed to move up to grab him?
What were they thinking?

Appealing to the average Leafs fan

One of the few times I think the Sens "won" the 1st round, in that they got the best value of any pick in the top 30 by getting Brown at 11.

I didn't know a third rounder was so expensive as to negate the benefits of getting the player you want. Lol at both those articles really, apparently it was so costly that even if Brown turns out awesome, Sens still lost.

anyone pretending to KNOW what a drafted player will turn into is not worth listening to.

Funny thing is, most fans who closely follow these prospects and specifically Brown love it. Who dI I believe? :sarcasm:

Yeah, and? He could have quoted any number of fans, but chose that quote because it fit his agenda.

Yes. And?

Brennan was totally wrong about EK - that doesn't mean you attribute that quote as his words.

Biggest losers?

Just because we traded a 3rd round pick that has a 40% chance of becoming an effective NHL player in 3 to 6 years?

Give me a ****ing break.
