Here we give grades to players based on their individual years, I'll start with Turris:
A- : Started the year poorly, playing like how did at the end of last year when the Spezza-Hemsky line was scoring most of our goals and his line went cold. Giveaways were evident and a guy I considered an above average defensive player was playing average and possibly below average. As the year progressed he seemed to get better and once the Stone, Michalek, Turris line was formed his play was night and day. You could argue that Stone was the catalyst of that line, which I believe he is, but regardless he regained much of his scoring touch and was recently named one of the NHL's 3 stars of the week. He seemed to have gone back to his above average defensive ability, but he has his moments of brain fart like everyone else (but Stone
). The past 30 games have probably been the best of his carrer, but I feel if he can be more consistent, he is a legit 30-40 type guy.
