Ennis is definitely not bad. He's about replacement level.

Mete and MDZ are pretty bad but Brown is, IMO, definitely worse than them. We haven't seen much of MDZ though so that could change for sure.

I think most Brannstrom "supporters" just want him to be in the NHL because we think he's better/more useful than J. Brown/Mete/MDZ.

I don't think anyone seriously believes he's going to single-handedly change our fortunes.

I hope all the players are safe, having said that the silver lining of a scary situation is that it'll help our tank. The last 2 seasons were so frustrating (to no one's fault) because of covid and it looks like this season will be as well. Looking out for the players safety should be number one, a competitive run to make a WC spot isn't worth the virus spreading.
