WHO IS A PROSPECT: http://www.hockeysfuture.com/whatmakesaprospect

HOW TO RANK PROSPECTS: Based on their value in a hypothetical trade or waiver draft. This takes into consideration a prospect's ceiling, how close he's to making it, his health, work ethic, the whole deal. Imagine there was a prospect waiver draft and you could keep only one prospect. That guy is our #1 prospect. Then imagine we had one more waiver protection. That guy is our #2 prospect.

Easy vote for Kantor, not even close now that Bourque is up there. Kantor has by far the best chance to make the NHL of the remaining prospects.

Add Stajcer because he's only 22 yers old and goalies develop slowly. At this stage, we are placing people who will likely wind up no more than "Honorable Mentions" so this is as good as it will get.

Not too impressed with Nicholls. 84 points in 71 games as an overager in juniors is nothing to write home about. All overagers score a ton and 84 points isn't exactly a ton. Now he's in the ECHL as a merely an "ok" player. MSC is a year younger and he's scoring twice as much per game on the same team, and nobody is even that high on MSC. I don't have much hope for Nicholls.
