Montreal looked like the expansion team that period.

When I mocked drafted a D-man to Seattle from Boston it was J Zboril...but I was wrong...The Kraken got J Lauzon and he's looking really good...Good on GM Francis and the rest of the talent evaluators!!!

I was pretty neutral with whoever we picked from Boston but I like Lauzon because he is playing physical and is actually been decent at moving the puck as well.

He has been solid for us. Hope he keeps this up and we lock him up long term after this season. He is only 25 so hopefully he is yet to his prime.

I’m really liking these lines so far. They are connecting. Sure, only 1 period, but the right things are happening in 3 of the 4, and the other is TBD.

I would welcome a pure goal scorer. Would make the power play much more exciting. We have some players that can take the step up in their scoring game but there should be at least one go to guy.

Team looks structured. It's interesting being a fan of a new team. I don't know the numbers yet so it's a lot more of the eye test.

They are finishing their checks and you can see the Habs are worried about that and turning the puck over. I really enjoy that.

Also, the team seems to be better defensively. There have been some breakaways for the Habs but for most of the part the Kraken players have been back in numbers to defend.
