I haven’t listed every possible choice but I’m curious to see how close we as a group come to picking who the three goalies are that Seattle take in the expansion draft.

I haven’t bothered applying any thought about injuries/UFA/RFA etc.

Rumors abound that they're signing Driedger as their FLA pick. So that's one.

They'd be flat-out dumb not to take Kahkonen. That's two.

The third for me is probably Vanecek, but Dillon is awfully tempting as well.

I added Driedger into the list.

Isn't the rule at least 3? Couldn't they go over since they only have to pick 23 skaters?

I agree that should be their three. Cheap and safe bets

But man Price would sure be a good way to get a fan base pumped up.

I would have a hard time passing on him if I were in their shoes

With 5 years left at $10.5M per and Price already being 33yo, I would be shocked if Seattle took him.

looks like they sign Driedger
They take another goalie with sweetener like Hotby
They take vanacek
They take an U25 goalie. Ideally one waiver exempt in 21/22

Yeah I voted for Price as one of their three goalies, taking a "mentor" spot. I just think after his stellar playoffs, and the chance to replicate the Fleury situation that Vegas had, they'll probably jump at it. The big counter-argument is that he has five more years at $10.5M. If that were more like three, maximum four, I'd be more confident that he goes to the Kraken.
