Man Maurice is really pumped in this interview. The one good thing about having the same coach for 8 years is you get to know a lot about his personality by watching how he gives a interview. I've seen Maurice happy, confident, mad ,really angry, dejected, tiered, and even philosophical during interview but I don't remember a time he seemed so pumped to get the season started.

Good sign for things to come?

PS if you guys are bummed that you have to wait till 9 for puck drop - the Canadian Men's Soccer team is set up very nicely to qualify for the 22 World Cup in Qatar.

Undefeated through their first 5 matches including draws against strong teams in Mexico and the US. They have 3 home games in a row, starting with Panama tonight at 6:30.

They've managed this despite significant injuries and suspensions due to yellow card violations.

Sounds like you have a similar kind of torn loyalty in play as I have whenever Hilary Knight takes the ice for the USWNT. Even among celebrity crushes, one still needs principles, but you know, people change countries all the time sooooo aaanywhat was I saying oh yeah Go Jets go, that is all.
