I miss the leadership and hustle brought by claude Lapoint.

Same, I took karate at a dojo in Hicksville with his son. He would come to watch and was a nice guy, super humble and friendly. Not related to his actual game, but when I was about 8 or 9 I went to a game with my mom and had seats in the 100's right near the tunnel to the locker room. He must've recognized me from the dojo, because during warm-ups an equipment manager came up into the stands and dropped a cold puck in my palm, he smiled and said "From Claude".

He is one of those players whose impact is not readily apparent if you only look at the stat sheet, but what he brought on the ice was something else. They didn't call em Lappy for nothin!
