I think what version of Monahan shows up is the biggest question mark for the Flames this year. Gaudreau's off year last year mostly was Monahan being a black hole of a linemate. He's had some nagging injuries though, so hopefully he bounces back.

He's been a pretty consistent 30-30 guy until last year (and the career year the year prior). Best bet is that's the range. Around 45 points since shorter season likely.

Yea that's a good point. Monahan has been fairly consistent season to season but has been quite streaky within each season, so I could see a wide range of possibilities. The first 56 games of each season since 14-15 when he broke out he's had 36, 39, 35, 50, 65, and 39 points.
