Monahan has a good deal more value. I pick Monahan and trade him for Danault++, if I had/wanted to.

I'm pretty sure Danault's play is significantly impacted by his linemates as well, whether due chemistry or talent. Over the last three years without Tatar and Gallagher on the ice, Danault has a 45 CF% and 39 GF%, and without Gallagher his P/60 drops to 1.78.

Danault for my favorite team (Colorado) and it’s really not close. The Avs don’t need any PP help and Danault is the superior 5v5 player offensively and far superior defensively.
