Austrian born. Speedy guy, with quick feet, and a great ability to turn on that speed quickly. Good hands and good sniping ability. 36 goals in 67 games (50 pts total) on a not so great Spokane Chiefs team. Colud fill out a bit more (6'1" 183 lbs). Doesn't shy away from physical play, but doesn't really going looking for it either.

I was a little bit surprised by how high he was and is ranked in the draft, but also not completely shocked either. Speed kills in the new rules era, and Grabner has tons to spare.

decent size, good skating, and sniping ability is something the Rangers could definatly use...especially if they can't get a center that they want at that spot
