The one bit I did see was the call on DeAngelo, but I only saw one or two replays. Did he seriously get a roughing call for a literal body check?

Yes, because the refs called #88 for missing the hit completely, checked it and came up with 2 minutes because the already called a penalty.
They effed up and knew it.

Wanted to add that surely - european players and russians can be friendly as individuals but the russian player needs to say that he does not support the current regime and the attack vs Ukraine
