Re: the brawl video -- Dr. Randy Gregg was one of my favourite bit players in the 80s. I mean the idea of an M.D. coming back and playing hockey, and not only playing hockey but fully committing to the role, fighting and everything. Just so cool. So many interesting, character guys in the history of the Oil.

LOL - the homerism of the Calgary announcers in the "Battle of Alberta" vid in post #2 is classic.

"Edmonton's been getting away with it for years" referring to the Oilers' apparent tendency to sneak an extra player onto the ice in any line brawl.

And that first vid in #1... Lowe turned beast in it. I always remember him as having been more of a stick man than being inclined to drop the mitts. He landed more than a few haymakers.

Anyway... 4-2 Oil on an empty netter. Let's roll.

Loved Fistric's game on Thursday, wouldn't mind seeing Peckham get into a game he could be better then Whitney for us. Either way i'm fine with the lineup as is for now.

Said Feaster: 'I’m sorry — Edmonton finished where last year, caller? Want to wager on where we finish relative to Edmonton this year? I’m tired of this question, I’ll tell you very honestly. I’m getting a little sour. How many teams . . . every year, for the last 10 years, five years, eight years, have finished in the bottom five, bottom seven, bottom 10? They’ve had a pick anywhere from No. 1 to No. 10 year after year after year after year, and they still wander in the desert. And they’re no closer to getting out than they were 10 years ago.
