Part 4! wow, is that record? lol

This thread has gone through more rounds this year then Sarnia has in 28 years lol
its actually incredible the Sting have been this bad for this long.... odds would say one year we would be accidentally good and win a couple rounds.... nope.... Sad thing is next year and the year after aren't looking good either.

You know something that I feel 99% of OHL fans wouldn't guess. Windsor hasn't placed top-4 in the conference since the 2010-2011 season. They also haven't won a series in a decade. I genuinely would have never guessed that for an org people hold in pretty high regard.

Glad we will be able to help them break that run!

Yeah, I didn't realize it's been that long for them as well. I guess when your used to your own team going 10+ year stretches without a 2nd round appearance, you tend to not catch things like this :help:

Yes we have had a long dry spell also.
We were lucky to host Mem cup in 17. That was a very good team, had lots of injuries that year and finished 5th in a West that had a lot of teams load up. Windsor got the darling Knight’s in round 1. Windsor won game one and were up in game two when a no goal got reviewed and was awarded to London, of course there was never any video produced and Windsor had to be escorted out of the arena. Went up 3-1 in series but went to game 7 in London and of course a couple late questionable calls late gave London power play the series.
Windsor was off for 44 days but then won 4 straight to take the cup,, twice beating Erie.
So we feel your pain but had a Memorial Cup in there.
Good luck in series, hoping to make it over for a game, always enjoy your arena and fans.

Hey, I would take going back to back like u guys did in 09-10 if it meant a 10 yr drought haha. You guys won more series, playoff games in those 2 years than we have in almost 30 years. Good luck to u as well! Hopefully we can make it somewhat of a series.

If Misa, Spence , villeneuve, Hage go in the top 4 which is likely. I would like either Benjamin Cormier (decent size 6’0 180, extremely skilled, great skater, hard worker) or Jack Van Volsen (pure goal scorer, very high hockey IQ, good size 6’1 175, 200 foot player, great face off guy, play PK and PP) I think both would be a good forward to take at 5 and fill our needs.

We better take a decent sized scoring forward with our pick.

Well my hope for the draft is Misa, Spence, Hage go in the top 4 & one of Sudbury or Niagara go D (Dickinson) & we get Nathan Villeneuve. he is the guy I want. even if we picked 2nd or 3rd he'd be who I want.

From what I've heard there's a decent chance that could happen too so that'll be what im crossing my fingers for. Still annoying a divisional team gets Misa. Also found it hilarious Niagara got the 4th pick after all that's gone on lol.

Saginaw wins the lottery, Erie picks 2nd. So a division rival & the team we beat out by one point. Man isn't it great to be a Sting fan.
With Misa in the mix & that Gong Show going on over in Niagara,a very good player is going to fall into our laps. Thanks In Advance Niagara.

If Hage or Villeneuve fell to us we better be jumping for joy on our way to pick them. If they don't its honestly a guessing game. There is no real consensus on how 5-12 will go. honestly be fairly happy with any of the Fs but my preference remains Beaudoin if the top 4 Fs r taken.

Well slaughter number one starts today. If they r gonna steal a game it's probably this one if WSR comes in a bit overconfident & Gaudreau stops like 44/46. discipline will be easily the biggest key in the series for us with how ridiculous their power play is.

See if this team can at least give them a scare like they did to us in 2018 with DiPietro.

Game 1- outshot 13-1 after one period. Someone tell Seca and Letang that it's big boy hockey and the All Under 5'9" Forward Experiment doesn't work. What an embarrassment watching Windsor's big defense core swat the no shows away at the Blueline.
Cheering for this team is hard on the psyche. Can Dillingham, Sikic or McIntyre get in a fight to show that we aren't scared? Nah, let's just happy to be here.
Great period by Big Ben, tough luck on the goal.

Think if Letang had his way sarnia would be built like Windsor, Flint haha. Not much he can do when it comes to the entire team being small.

Defensively they are playing fairly well. Offensively they've generated literally nothing.

Shockingly the PK has kept them in this. Unfortunately they still refuse to shoot. Infuriating beyond belief
