OT: Sanderson biopic getting a rewrite

“Turk,†a biopic about the fast life and hard times of Bruins hockey hero Derek Sanderson that’s been in the proverbial development hell for two years, is back on again.

Producer Shep Harmon told the Track the script is getting an overhaul, and they’ll be shopping the tale to Tinseltown as soon as it’s ready. “We want to get this movie made and we want to do it in Boston,†he said.

I'd like to see the movie when/if it comes out.

Derek had a troubled, but interesting life.

He was a special, talented player for the Bruins, and I enjoyed his color commentating with Fred Cusick (especially on the old analog satellite TV, with no commercials).
