I'm basing my vote on proven success in pro leagues and I'm going with the unpopular opinion that Blichfeld still has this spot. He has shown the ability to produce in the AHL and on a horrible team and got a cup of coffee with the Sharks last year. My next votes would be Chemelevski Checkovich then Dahlen based on thier potential to break into the NHL next season. Not sold on Dahlen because he has too many holes in his game that I think limits his NHL potential offensively and isnot suited to a potential shut down role like Chemelevski is. I just don't see Merkley as an NHL defenseman as he was less than average defensively in the AHL. This year should be telling on if he can make a progression in that area or not.
