Dude is playing lights out this year. Would prefer to extend him since he’s our only good dman. That being said I think a 1st + a conditional 3rd is the price. Lot of people saying he’s not worth a 1st have not seen him this year. RHD on pace for over 40 points who’s also even on a team with a -37 goal differential. Rentals go for more than their worth all the time but in this case he’s playing up to the price.

Honestly, that's kind of a lot. Unless that prospect is seriously like a throw in afterthought.

Overpayment. A conditional 2nd(1st), a 3rd and a mid-level prospect is more likely.
