Sam Brittain Named Finalist for NCAA's Goaltender of the Year

After a stellar senior season at the University of Denver, Florida Panthers goaltending prospect, Sam Brittain, was announced today as one of just five finalists for the inaugural Mike Richter Award, which will be given to the most outstanding goalie in college hockey.

Also interesting to note that another finalist, Wisconsin's Joel Rumpel, is an upcoming NCAA UFA ... never hurts to add more goaltending depth! ha

Went to a couple of Pioneers games this season. He looked very good to me but what do I know? Chevy looked good here too.

He's had a helluva year, can't to see him get a crack in SA next season.
