Sabres Survivor rules:
  • Select a Buffalo player you think will score a point in the next game.
  • You are allowed to select a player twice per Sabres Survivor game, but never in consecutive rounds, and it's okay to make the same selection as another poster in any given round. If you think the Sabres will be shutout, you may use 'shutout' as your pick.
  • It's important to note that shootout goals do not count as points and will not advance you in a Sabres Survivor game, so make your picks carefully and before puck drop. No one else can join a Sabres Survivor game once it has started and must wait for the next Sabres Survivor game to enter play.
[*]If your selection is correct, then you advance to the next round of the current Sabres Survivor game. Correct selections net you one point in the Sabres Survivor game standings and all Sabres Survivor game winners automatically qualify for the Sabres Survivor game playoffs, which begin March 11th.
  • If your selection is incorrect, then you're likely eliminated from all subsequent rounds in that Sabres Survivor game. However, if all selections are incorrect AND the Sabres were shutout, you'll get a reprieve as your selection carries over to the next Sabres game and cannot be changed.
  • If all selections are incorrect AND the Sabres were not shutout, then the tiebreaker is used to determine a winner. Order is as follows: SOG, +/-, PIM, TOI.
Game One – Round Two at CHI (10/11/14) – Three Remaining:
  • Bobby Bottle Service - (Girgensons) None
  • jBuds - (Foligno) Moulson
  • Lassa - (Girgensons) Shutout
Game One – Round Two Winner:
  • jBuds; by SOG tiebreaker

Grigoren ..... Errr I mean Reinhart

I get the feeling you just knocked yourself out of game one to make that joke

I'm pulling for you though, because that would be fan-damn-tastic to see. Maybe he can pull out the Rob Ray special and score on his first shot, first shift.

Why? Do you think it's near impossible for Reinhart to get a point? I thought it was a decent pick :dunno:

No, nothing like that. It's just not the safer bet that a Moulson or Ennis should be, especially with how they've been rolling, versus a kid in his first game. I just see it as relatively bold, in a good way.

Oh, yea.

True. Lower chance and bold. Oh well. Spin the wheel!
