Ryder is exactly that and absolutely nothing more.

Briere is just finished, too bad but at the same age Briere was a much better overall player

I don't think Ryder wanted to stay here.

That being said, if we're comparing players, it was Ryder > briere AINEC. Briere was done 2 years ago.

Ryder is alive.
Ryder scores goals.
Ryder isn't a dirty rat who played out organization.

Briere is...

Not so sure about that.
I heard him saying that he wanted to come back.

I can always find the citation (or someone else).
Any link to back up your claim?

Ryder.

BTW, how do you get to see who voted for what? Once you vote you can't see who voted for Briere?

Ryder delivers more, but I voted Brière to be a jerk. ;)

Actually if it all worked out right, Brière and the Habs would be a good story. I'll bump this thread come springtime if he's leading us through the playoffs.

I think I would honestly rather have Cole. Bergevin turned Cole into Connor Crisp, Briere for the same remaining amount of time, and 500k of cap space.

Briere is a playoff performer so it is too early to make a call on this one.

My personal answer was and still is neither.

"Neither" really is the only sane answer. Imagine having that 4M$ in a month or so when sinking teams start trading assets. Damn...

Lazy Ryder>>>>

Too bad he didn't want to resign with us. Even though I doubt Bergevin would've signed him.
