I think it's pretty obvious that he just didn't show enough in the AHL.

He was extremely overrated in preseason and didn't really do much in Hartford. Blidh sucks too, but he's given Colorado NHL minutes in a pinch. Blidh is an absolute prick, so he'll be good to stir shit if we need him to do that

He probably would've been called up once or twice more had he not been injured.

I thought Rydahl was pretty good. I think the main problem with him was that he was simultaneously trying to adjust to NA whole also suffering from 3-4 injuries throughout the season.

Reasonable trade though. Blidh is a bastard who could provide some decent energy in a pinch.
