From everything I've seen. He's a good leader(captained USA team at junior).
A very complete player that work hard in all 3 zones. Always give his 110% but lack the wow factor. Don't have any skill that are elite or very good but has a good head and no real issue beside consistency (normal for rookie)

Will be a good 3rd liner or average 2nd if he pan out.

It's no secret that his production has skyrocketed since Scott Gomez was signed by Hershey. Gomez and Barber play on a line and Hershey's PP has gotten a boost with Gomez on the half wall, Jakub Vrana (great passer, came back from injury around the time Barber hit a hot streak) below the net, and Barber in the front of the net.

It will be interesting to see if he can keep up his scoring pace if Gomez signs with a NHL team before the TDL.

Yes I'm not sure he'd stay at that pace without Gomez and Vrana but that shows he could be a good complementary player on a offensive line.

I heard he's responsible defensively too so thats good.

Playing with Gomez may have helped with his stats. But I don't know how he's doing and with whom he's playing since.

Would like to hear more from a Caps fan that may have watched him more than me!
