Despite how far he's come since last year, this kid is still very under the radar.

Think he needs a year in the AHL, but he has developed a nice shot and I think he has a future in the NHL. Looks like a great late round find for the Bruins.

6th most points in the SHL as a 20 year old.

When he was drafted he was said to be an undersized but aggressive forward with great forechecking and penalty killing. With this kind of production and him having a strong skating and two way game, this kid could be a solid NHLer.

Fun fact, he was taken with the 6th round pick the Bruins received from Avs for Soderberg’s UFA rights. The pick was originally Boston’s own, previously traded to Colorado along with Jordan Caron for Max Talbot.

Nice find.... Interesting that the return for Soderberg's UFA rights could pay dividends.

Can any of our Swedish board-mates comment on how Oskar Steen has performed this year? He has officially broken out as he is 7th in league scoring at age 20. His offensive output is impressive, but has he maintained his aggressive, agitating side as well? Inquiring minds would like to know!

Definitely hasn't lost that side of his game. He's a pest. A pest with offensive talent.

He has become much more aware of what it takes to perform at this level. Focused more on eating and sleeping better, worked a lot on his physique and stamina.

He plays both PP and PK for Färjestad.
