I think Nathan Legare is above all an energy player. If he makes it to the NHL, it will be in a Pezetta role.

The highlight of Legare's Penguins career will be the video of him signing his contract. Jim Rutherford asked him if he wanted to keep the pen that he signed it with and seemed perplexed when he turned down the offer. He ended up changing his mind to JR's delight. I would hazard a guess that Rutherford threw in a Werther's original for such an occasion.

I didn't think he was very good in Laval at all.

He seems alright. He worked hard and had the typical not very creative offensively.

He seemed to be more impactful than Cederqvist, but that isn't saying much.
