First they call Michkov “2nd best player of draft” and even “equal to Bedard”. Than they said “there is no offensive help to him in the Flyers”.
Pls stop. 2nd best player should level up attack of team which drafted him, doesn’t he?
Or maybe he is just a no 2nd best player,

Most people seriously don't understand Torts. They think he punishes skilled guys, but realistically, he just wants to see them bring it. Frost is the perfect example of a guy who brings it 50% of the time, and coasts the rest. That is what Torts f***ing hates, if he knows you should be "the guy", but you just coast and aren't elevating your game to where you should be, he sits your ass.

Michkov is an absolute gamer, Torts will absolutely love his dedication, and always being ready to go. If he does come over this Summer, they really should be looking at that RW situation and try to make a hockey trade for a C though.

Yeah, Michkov's competitiveness will be liked by NHL coaches for sure. Of course he sometimes tends to make risky moves, but who of U21 younsters don't? And Matvei is still 19. I'm sure his IQ will help him to overcome such problems and get into the NHL game as soon as possible.

Another thing is Michkov loves to provoke opponents to do stupid things, which is considered unsportsmanlike conduct by many fans, experts and even coaches. But Marchand has been doing such things for years, and Boston public love him.

Yup, all athletes make mistakes, but its what you do next that is crucial in the minds of coaches. There will be turn overs, bungled plays, all of that will happen in the NHL for Michkov....but does he come out next shift and make a difference? More times than not, he does.

Yeah warming up to the idea of trading away Konecny.

At some point too many is too many with TK,OT, TF, old guy Atkinson plus prospects Brink, Tuomaala, Gendron.

Exactly. Make mistakes but as long as you're going balls to the wall and learn from them it's ok. I'm glad he pushed York, too.

Someone on hfboards said something, ergo Michkov is no good. Great logic, sport!

Coming to an NHL team near you ... hopefully. I still believe he was significantly impacted by the pneumonia this season. It's not a coincidence that he looked way more explosive and high effort in September and early October

Yeah the first best player of the draft surely set the Blackhawks offense on a whole new level
