EP says he will be playing in Liiga next year, but not sure. Thought there might be a thread out there for him, but didn't see one.

This guy has one of the best shots in the draft and is a potential 1st round pick. Definitely one to watch for 2023.

He’s the #2 Finland prospect after Halttunen.

Saw video of him, he's a very good offensive player with a good shot. Think he could be a riser if he has a good season. Looking at him as a dark horse to have a breakout year.

I think he’s a first round pick and is going to be among the top goal scorers from this draft.

Playing 4th line RW in the final exhibition game for Assat before the year starts. Not sure if he will start the year in Liiga or not.

4 assists in his last 8 Liiga games.

Believe his ice time has been steadily going up, because he’s averaging 15:50 a game now.

Surprised he hasn’t scored a goal yet.

Hämeenaho has 2.2% on-ice shooting percentage and 26 shots on goal with 0 goals. Me thinks this guy is due for some positive regression.

Starting to give Halttunen a run for first Finn off the board.

With a goal today against Sport is now on a three game points streak, 2nd on the team in points, & tied 3rd for rookies.

Looking quite solid out there on both ends, making smart and skillful plays, drawing penalties, etc..

Tied 2nd in scoring for both his team and for rookies with an assist on the pp goal in ot yesterday.

A few other chances he was involved in setting up:

Keeping up with the overall mature play. Speed the biggest thing to develop.

Had a good game overall against one of the top teams on Saturday

Goal from 0:30 on
Being involved in two good scoring chances from 3:25 on

And then a nice little play at the start of this clip

But yeah since last posted he was a bit ill before the WJC tournament missing a few games. Didn't quite get it going in the WJC like in Liiga, but also not getting much icetime either in some of the games. What was more clearly noticeable was his absence when it comes to Ässät's play during that time.

The lines have been living a bit (also on the ineffective powerplay), so we'll see how the last 16 reg. season games go for him, and if the team keeps the recent good play up to get into the playoffs also after some time. Would be neat to see him keep up the steady rise to become a late first round pick.

Hämeenaho has good offensive skill and hockey IQ but I don't think he's good enough skater to be drafted in the first round.

A cool late goal in a difficult game for the team on the road.

2 Jukurit players and 1 Ässät player made a fantastic screen. Still nice shot and nice goal, but wtf were Peltomäki and Mäkinen (2 Jukurit players) doing there?

Hämeenaho had some other nice moments in this game too. Maybe could actually be a late first rounder?

more like late 2nd rounder with that skating
Bob McKenzie's mid-season rankings had him at 42, so not crazy to think he could be a late first rounder if some team likes him enough. But yeah I agree his skating needs work. Probably a second rounder.
