Tough to determine what that means in terms of his NHL prospects. The top three teams are basically dominating Liiga standings and there are some have-nots in the bottom of the league.

If you look at the top scorers for TPS, most were either late round picks or were never drafted.

As someone mentioned above, it's likely that Iskhakov would have to replicate this kind of production in either the KHL or Sweden before really garnering attention.

All this is absolutely true but you know, it's better to produce in Finland than not to produce. At least KHL/SHL teams will be willing to give him a contract now if he decides to continue the European route.

Don't see why Isles would sign him now, he is not ready for NHL, maybe not even AHL. They still have his rights for two more years.

Was watching a TPS game the other night and this kid really stood out. He's a crafty player with smooth hands and seems to have quite a knack for takeaways. That said with his stature he'd probably get absolutely demolished physically in the NA pro leagues. He's a project but one to certainly watch for the Isles.

In a bit of an unconventional move, he moves to Germany. One of the best German teams at that though.

Signed with Adler Mannheim for the next season. Btw, if I'm counting it correctly, Isles will lose his rights if they don't sign him after next season (and unless he signs in the KHL before that deadline).
