It's not true. It is official that he will go.

He then gets to play in the Olympics as well. In other news, altho his
RSL team will miss him, they have just freed up nearly 2 months of his salary.

Also good news for Alexei Kaigodorov... He has already put up some nice pts in Malkin's place on the 1st line.

I take Enver Lisen in my pool, do you think he have some chance to play Malkin or he will play in the second line ? Can he be one of the best scorer of the tournaments ?

It's gonna be:

Voloshenko and Radulov centered by Malkin.
I expect them to be nothing less than the best unit of the entire WJC

Go russia :yo:

I don´t think so, in their draft year Voloshenko and Radulov has played the whole year at international level with Yunkov so I think he will be their center. I can imagine seeing Malkin with Lisin and Shirokov.

That's a pretty good number 1 line. Radulov is a guy who could really light it up, especially with linemates like this.

Obviously, Malkin could and should dominate this tournament.

Head coach Mikhalev already stated that Malkin will be centering Radulov and Voloshenko. Second line wingers I expect to be Shirkov and Lemtyugov, both play for CSKA on the same line and having a good chemistry. Lisin probably will be on the 3rd line.

I think Russia has as good a chance as anyone to win this year.

Is Malkin in Vancouver yet? Will he play the exebition game tonight?

No, he's in Tver playing with his team. He will go to Canada tomorrow.

Metallurg won the game 3-1. Don't know the boxscore.
