Russians! Ovechkin or Kaprizov? Imagine that Ovechkin and Kaprizov are at the peak of their careers! Who will you take to the team this season and why? Who is better?

What in the world is "absolute hockey ability"? David Vyborny? My dude, these are some big claims.Kaprizov just too skilled young Ovechkin was ofc better than old Ovechkin he could drive game himself somewhat also( who isnt very good player, but is mostly just stats padded by usage empty netters and standing still slapshots), but still was maybe most overrated player in hockey's history he is modern day's version of Brett Hull and in absolute hockey ability player's like Zigmund Palffy Saku Koivu or David Vyborny were definitely better in playing this sport. Achievements are one think NHL is bit like WWE in that regard and pure ability is other for example Pavel Bure was much superior scorer/player compared to Ovechkin if you take into account skill/ability. In international competition what is most pure form of sport when national team's play Ovechkin has usually been average level player in Russia's team at younger day's he was better but still optimal role for him would have been 3rd or 4th line winger in Russia's national team just doesnt have hands /creativity to play in top 6 role in Russia's skilled forward groups theres better more skilled player's for that role. Short shifts hitting making simple play's thats what Ovechkins skillset would be optimal and be in better shape so doesnt float around at all just give your all 30 sec and change.

^^^This post belongs in the history forum.
They would highly respect you over there, alongside the guy who says Ryan Getzlaf is better than Ovie, and the other guy who said Ovie would have been the 8th or 9th greatest player on the 1956 Canadiens, or the other guy who claims Crosby could have scored as many goals as Ovie and simply chose not to.
