Don't know about Anaheim going with another defenseman in the first round. They went with a defenseman their last two first round picks, and they desperately need some secondary scoring. Also don't know about Shore to the Isles, they would already have Tavares and Bailey, I think they would be more looking for defense at that spot, like de Haan or Erixon.

Toronto would probably pick Matthew Hackett at pick #58 rather than the defenseman Jesse Blacker especially after picking Jared Cowen according to you

Phoenix picking Schenn? Thank you.
So many mocks have them going D when Schenn at #6 is clearly BPA, and BPA is Phoenix's strategy.

As for 2nd round, Button not BPA. Joonas Nattinen, Roussel, Gelinas, Tatar and Wrenn would go before Button.

Good job overall with the player picks. Team faithfuls on here will always question their team picks, but I think you did really well in selecting the players who will go in the top 60.

This, and Burke isn't confident in Pogge and has said he wants replenish the goaltending in T.O,

also they would prolly pick Toni Rajala with there 1st 2nd rd pick..,

but good mock IMO

Very solid from an Avs standpoint - Duchene is no surprise, but I would be very content with De Hann with #33 in the 2nd (or Panik if he's still on the board). I'm not sold on any of the goalie prospects in this years draft, but Lehner at #49 is good value, and addresses an organizational need. Overall, well thought out mock; doing the 2nd round is nice in a year with a deep draft class.

57 San Jose Sharks - Anton Lander, C

Well done. I think this is an interesting draft for the Pacific Division. The Kings get two really talented wingers, the Coyotes make really good picks. The Stars gets a defender who is often labeled a new Zubov. The Ducks get a player who fits into their style.

The Sharks look outside North America for their drafting and gets offense in return, as well as adding to a possible rivalry with the Kings. Panik - Tatar and MSP - Lander.

I cant beleive Despres and Holland were so low in McGuire and Button's mock draft

Love the leafs pick

MSP at 7- I think this will turn out to be a steal
Brown at 50-Let this guy develop within a few year, he will be a good player
Blacker-at 58-He will be the Andrew Campbell of this draft, he will no doubt sneak into the 2nd round

Great islanders draft, i dont know if they could do too much better than that, stellar draft.

Wow are you actually acknowledging the Andrew Campbell the Kings picked in the 3rd round last year? If so, I'm delighted and impressed.

Good picks for the Kings, dude. Schenn and Panik are the type of players we're looking for. You have my stamp of approval.
