You could literally pick Lt. Dan at 220 and it wouldn't make a difference
So what’s all the crybaby whining about then? Who cares whose kid he is. It’s the end of the draft. Odds are 4 to 5 kids taken in this round see an NHL sheet of ice. He has as good a chance as any and this is where you take a Flyer on a talented undersized kid.

As useless as 7th round picks are, I still think they should alway take a goalie or this year a Russian, since they are currently scorned.

In a vacuum, this is actual a fine 7th round pick. Gendron will easily outperform his draft position.

It's the 7th round, so yeah probably. But this far in you're lucky to find a prospect that can do anything well. Alexis can actually do two things well.

Absolutely incredible he’s kept his two goals to every assist ratio up. Not sure I’ve ever seen that at the Junior level. Seems like a big red flag in my amateur statical studies.

The player himself has proven draft worthy but they chose him for the wrong reasons.
