Prospect Info: Round 4, Pick 103: Mason Millman, D, Saginaw (OHL)

Saginaw fan here watched MM play in his 1st OHL season and saw some tremendous development throughout the year. His skating and ability to be consistent at both ends of the ice are only going to get better. He has the talent to QB the PP and gives his all every shift. In the playoffs Saginaw was down to 4 D at times and MM was holding his own against SSM and then Guelph in the conference final. This is when the scouts started taking notice as he did not look out of place against the leagues elite players. JMO the young man really stepped up when his team needed him the most and that is character that can't be taught. His responsibilities will be increased this season MM will be top 2 D on a good club. He will put up some numbers this season with increased TOI and special teams.

Thanks for sharing. The Flyers scouts watching Frost and Ratcliffe would have seen a lot of him. We'll gladly welcome any updates during the year too!

Larry44, l have no problem with that it will be a great season in Saginaw with a strong nucleus returning and a good coach in Chris Lazary.
