If it’s not broke than leave it, unfortunately we are broke. Maybe Cole isn’t in the jets future. I know he had a dry spell for a stretch but still managed almost 20 goals.
Being replaced by AJF is the coaches decision and a slap in the face to Gus and Cole. It’s just All we want is to win and no matter what anyone says Bones better win this one. Down 3-1 is disaster hard to come back against the Avalanche.
They should have at least traded Cole at the deadline for Bones to get more vets in the lineup. 4th line plays a few shifts a period and Cole in or out he plays 7 min a game and if he gets a goal back to the PB.
Love the Jets, Dinosaur Bones better win this series or he will be with the others watching in the future

Yeah, he's only going to get 6 minutes of ice time. It won't make any difference.

The point was that they are slower skaters then Perfetti. It's not a speed issue, it's a coach preferring experience issue.

Hopefully third time is the charm for him on trusting his vets. They have let him down for three games now.

For what other reason do you call up and dress a guy that can’t score?
Because he is arguably the fastest guy in the organization.
Rightly or wrongly, that’s the reason.

The doomsday posts are interesting to me. Did you think the Jets were going to go undefeated in the playoffs? You thought there would be no adversity, no ups and downs?
Being down 2-1 is nothing. You have to be able to comeback, you have to survive injuries or you'll never win anything.
The AVS are the favorites, we're an excellent team. Luck is a factor in life and sports. Perseverance and consistency are the key. It's not over until a 4th game is won.

The Jets are something like 2-16 in games following a loss in the playoffs. Now obviously, this isn't those previous teams. But that historic reality is what informs a lot of the doomsdaying for many of us. We've seen this situation several times and THis is still largely that core...so until they show us it's nothing, it's something.

I like the AJF move. Had actually been thinking that it would be a possibility. We are unable to slow the Avs down and play any type of our own game. Adding any speed to lineup will help get to loose pucks.
I would move Namestikov up in the lineup too.

Let’s see how we play with our backs up against a wall attitude.

I wouldn’t worry about Perfetti. He’s a pro. He will just be hungrier to improve his game.
