Solid pick. RD are hard to come by so its good to keep em in your system.

His dad is a NHL'er so he got the right training growing up. He also has untapped offensive potential. I would say he could be the #2 D supporting a number 1 guy on a first pairing or be the #3 guy leading your second pairing.

This feels like a prototypical bottom third first round Flyers' draft pick... a guy whose floor is higher than his ceiling.

I believe we learned last year that everyone got to take turns making picks. I think we can assume Briere took the first pick. I wonder if they're still collaborating like that, and who took this one?

I mean seems like a steady move(maybe) but I think we could have done better and historically we did do a lot better with 22.
