Many years ago I was invited to an MSG suite and my friends invited Rod up to meet me. I expected at best a very short visit. Instead, Rod sat with me and watched the entire third period of a game against the Sharks. He wanted to know all about me, my family and how I had become a Ranger fan. He gave me some great insights on the game and afterwards I walked on air for a week. I idolized the guy when I was much younger and that night I realized that my admiration was well placed. Godspeed Rod
