if he was signed before TDL he could have been sent down on paper and be eligible.

after TDL it was either

1. Sabres contract starting when signed
2. defer contract for Sabres to start the next seasonand ATO with Rochester the rest of the season

Can Houser play in both series? Asking for myself

Houser did have a busy week

Playoff games in Cincinnati on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Up to Buffalo on Friday to back up Tokarski. Tonight, he's in Toledo and is playing against the Walleye in game 6 of that series.

So far, Houser is 2-2 in the series with a 0.927 Save Percentage. 11 goals against on 150 shots

Tonight's game is half way through the 2nd period and is 1-0 Walleye. Houser has 24 saves so far.

UPL's injury certainly complicates things for Rochester and Cincinnati.
