Bortuzzo has been solid in his 2 games.

More importantly, the guy has been an islander for less than a week(5 days) and he’s already visiting sick children with the team. What a guy. Speaks volumes about the man he is. Well done!!!

[Mr Misunderstood]

JT made him his bitch the other night, but he's a pretty damn good hockey player considering his 1k points.

Bobby made a few flub plays the other night as well. But I'll attribute that to the Leafs offensive skill and still adjusting to a new team and new living situation.

Aside from that, he as solid as you can ask for from a veteran defenseman acquired for a 7th round pick. He fills the exact need we've been yelling about since September. Almost like Lou kinda knows what he's doing.

Knowing Lou’s attention to detail it would not surprise me if Pelech had the protection removed for the picture. Can’t let teams know the extent of Pelech’s injury.
