Oh, really saddened to hear of his passing. Remember Peter as one of my favorites when I was getting into the B's back in the day and well liked by all his teammates and Grapes. If you ever watched the Avs' broadcasts, he had a genuine and likable demeanor about him.

RIP Peter and thanks for all the entertainment over the years.

Ken Hodge, "Max" McNab, Cam Neely, the Big 8's over the years. He took over the slot that Espo had tended to in the old Garden. As Johnny Peirson would say he had a "heavy" shot and deadly accurate. He was liked by all for his outgoing manner and humor and was a natural for the broadcast booth. They say that cowboys want to be buried with their boots on, I hope that Max gets to take his old Lange's with him.

Very sad news indeed. I am sure my grandfather will now tell Mr. McNab how much he hated the trade to the Canucks back in the day. "They got 'nil' alright!"

RIP Peter you were loved by hockey fans all over.
