Underrated player imo. Skates very well, has soft hands and a good shot. Capable of scoring 20-25 goals in the right environment. What's his worth this offseason?

So would I. I think he'd thrive here with our centers.I'd give him a 3x3
Between 2-3MM per year. Any player is capable of scoring 20-25 goals in the right environment, i.e. Tom Wilson, Jonathon CheeChoo, Pascal Dupuis, Ryan Malone, Rob Brown
Many players can, not all. Do you think those guys you mention were 4th liners? Panik is a legit top 9 forward, maybe not ideally a top 6 winger on a strong team but he can play the complimentary role well. He's not a plug who can't shoot, deke or skate.
Wilson, Cheechoo, and Dupuis were not good examples. Wilson is a good PF. Cheechoo and Dupuis were hurt by injuries but were still good.Between 2-3MM per year. I mean obviously when you get put with a superstar (and all of them were the best player in the league at one point) your production is going to go up. I see Panik as pretty similar to Pirri though in that he offers nothing if he’s not scoring.True, but they were not putting up the numbers till they got put with the players I stated.
Cheechoo:
2002-03 66 games 16 points.
2003-04 81 games 47 points (28 goals) playing with Ricci and Scott Thornton
2005-06 Pre Joe 27 games 15 points (7 goals)
2005-06 Post Joe 57 games 78 points (49 goals)
Once he left Thornton, his production slipped,
Wilson:
2015-16 7 goals
2016-17 7 goals
2017-18 put with Ovechkin 14 goals
2018-19 22 goals
Dupuis was good but he was better with Crosby.

Agreed. Pirri and Reider are pretty good comparables for Panik.
I'd give him a 3x3
Saying Panik can score 20-25 is a stretch. Whoever signs him should be hoping for a 15-20-35 third liner who can PK a bit if needed.
I’d go 2.5x3 quite comfortably for him. 3x3, is probably the max
What? You might not be able to come up with 2 less comparable players in the NHL right now than Pirri and Rieder.
Pirri just puts up points. He doesn’t really do anything else, and doesn’t look great even when he is scoring.
Rieder does the little things right, and coaches like him because he’s effective when not scoring. And that’s good because he can’t score.
I don't think it's a stretch since he already scored 22
he played 30 games the year he scored 6. In his last 255 games he has 55 goals which averages to 18 goals per 82 games. So no, it's not a stetch to say he might score 4 more goals then his average, but it's also not accurate so expect 22 goalsHis goal totals the last 5 years are: 11, 6, 22, 14, 13. He might have done it once but that doesn’t mean it’s not a stretch to think he’ll do it. 25 goals is an over 85% higher pace than he’s been able to put up the last 2 seasons
Not neccessarily 4th liners.
Cheechoo was playing 3rd/4th line putting up 16 points till they put him with Jumbo.
Dupuis was middle 6 till he was put with Crosby.
Wilson was bottom 6 till he was put on a line with Ovechkin.
Rob Brown with Mario; Legend. Without Mario; bottom 6.
The only ones I mentioned who were legitimate top 6 would be Malone. He put up goals from day one, regardless of line mates, until all the bad stuff at the end of his career.
