Rethinking the Oilers jersey

Most recently the Hawks had some pretty dark years. I think Detroit HF a dark stretch as well. Both all in the same classic jerseys.

By the 1990s, despite having been in the league since the 1920s, both Chicago and Detroit had less cups than Edmonton had in a fraction of the time. Not especially comparable.

As third jerseys go, how about the old spawn jersey colours applied to the current design?

Dark navy blue sweater and oil drop with white and silver outlines/stripes.
