Kentucky: Your opponent can throw a Robinson-Savard pairing at you, along with the very tough Brind'amour and Draper. How will your relatively small, non-physical forwards overcome this disadvantage?

Rogle: It looks like Bobby Hull might line up across from Alfredsson if you send out your best defensive line against him. How will a small, cerebral checker like Alfie handle Hull's physical strength?

It's a fair question. Bobby will definitly be the big challenge for my team to overcome. But I think the combination of Alfie shadowing and annoying him with Robinson/Boivin taking cacre of the physical part will make him less effective.

Rogle wins in a quick four game sweep. Kentucky managed just two goals throughout.

Thats just insane. Kentucky can put the puck in the net, their problem was obviously just hanging their goalie out to dry resulting in more going in their own net than they will score on the opposition in a 60 minute game.

But a team with Bobby Hull/Leetch/Dionne/Malkin/Murphy etc. only scoring two goals in a four game sweep is wild.

ugh. You're right. I'm sorry for trying to add any sort of narrative in this case, because obviously I got it way wrong. The point was that the voting wasn't close, and that it was less close than any series I've ever seen. 9 votes had it ending in 4 or 5 games, and only one had it going to 7. I should have said "the floodgates opened as Rogle pumped in a first round high 22 goals in just 4 games."
