Does anybody know if Stutzle playing? He didn't play last game.

He's still ill, but I gotta think he'll tough it out in a game like this and play.

This is such a big game for both nations. If the Kazak can win that means they'll be up for 3 years... that's huge for development and I think they could make it 4 when I look at the Austrian team and what could be next year. For Germany this is the start of something big. Major funding and development is on the line here. This is a HUGE game.

Seider with a huge hit. Hit was absolutely clean but in this tournament that's 5+20.

The better team won. Next year's so called "weak teams" could have a 19 year old Seider and 18 year old Stutzle (Germany), and a 19 year old Rossi (Austria). Strongest setup in awhile.

Germany will also be in a group with Switzerland, Slovakia, the Gold winner, and the Bronze loser. I could definitely see them finishing 3rd or 4th in the group.

Next Year i could see them finishing even 2nd potentially. They could definitely upset Finland

lets not get carried away :D I mean I would love it but I can’t see that now.

however, I love how much talent is coming up at the moment. Of course we’re far away from being a powerhouse, but our WC teams in the future could potentially be stacked with some decent NHL level talent. 1-3 NHL caliber players per year does not seem like much but added up over time it’s quite solid :)
