I didnt think it would actually be pronounced as "Dick". Now I'm really rooting for him
I honestly thought his first name was Red this entire time until I saw this thread.

Dyck definitely has some sway to his motion. He moves like Swayman in that video.
SO manyLots of potential punchlines with a name like ..........................................Reid.
You enjoy a mature Dyck?Let him mature but looks like a nice add down the road
If he makes an NHL game while Edwards (the commentator, not the new Edward-.-) I can only imagine what dumb remark Jack will make leaving Brickley feeling with the typical awkward few seconds of silence. Can't wait to see a Dyck and Bussi tandem one day
Despite his moves being a bit stiff, he seems to have all the tools to become a valuable member of this unit. His former coach Peter Johnson said he used be a weenie and kind of rigid when he was younger, but after an opponent used his wood shaft to take some hard hacks at his groin, causing a fracture of a bone, he became a hard prick who isn't afraid to be firm and stand up for himself.
Why did I read this in Pierre McGuire voice?Despite his moves being a bit stiff, he seems to have all the tools to become a valuable member of this unit. Red works too.I honestly thought his first name was Red this entire time until I saw this thread.
He'll grow into it eventually. This is a reidyckulous pick. I love it. I'm gonna be routing for this dude so hard.
Patience is in order, you can't rush things, if you do rush it then it could be over quickly.Like this pick the most, young and athletic with a high ceiling. The knock being on him is he hasn't been able to come up with the big save at the right time. That I feel will come with experience and confidence and at only 18, I think its just a matter of time before it all comes together.
In 4-5 years down the road with the Sens drafting Tyson Dyck we could have many Dyck on Dyck analogies. LOLRed works too.
