Ref Kozari gets accidentally hit by Hayden Fleury -- Taken off on Stretcher

What was he doing in the middle of the ice?

Appears he collided with a player (TBL) who also was helped off the ice.

Can anyone explain why in the world Kozari would be in that position? It makes less than zero sense to me.

Looked like him and Hayden Fleury just inventively collided into each other in full stride.
Edit: Replay showed him of of position was skating back into position and him and Fleury bonked into each other in full stride, that looked REAL bad.

Actually after watching it and watching Fleury, someone needs to check Fleurys vision. Dude shoots pucks into forwards knees five feet away. Then he didn't see Kozari? Weird Kozari didnt look over his shoulder but how did Fleury not see him? Rough. Feel bad for both but hot damn Fleury.

On the replay I saw, it looked like Kozari may have been out on his feet. Would explain why he fall back so violently.
