Still haven't shown the replay.

What was he doing in the middle of the ice?

Appears he collided with a player (TBL) who also was helped off the ice.

Can anyone explain why in the world Kozari would be in that position? It makes less than zero sense to me.

Looked like him and Hayden Fleury just inventively collided into each other in full stride.
Edit: Replay showed him of of position was skating back into position and him and Fleury bonked into each other in full stride, that looked REAL bad.

Full on, no look hit and his head hit the ice. Good to see he was conscious and moving fingers though. Concussion at a minimum. Hopefully, that's all. Nasty collision,.

When someone snaps their tibia we get 8 replays but zero of this.
A head injury can severely alter a person's life. A tibia injury not so much. Only fair for his close ones that they don't show much before they know he's at least somewhat alright.

Concussions get plenty of replays too.

Scary. It seems like he may have hit his head on the ice.

Don’t know of any NHL officials who wear a mouthguard—raises the concussion risk in that sort of scenario.

Even with the distant camera it looked awful. He might have been out before he hit the ice. Really hope he’ll be okay.

Thats what I don't get either. What possible reason could he have for being in that position during play?

He was basically right on the center ice dot when the collision happened.
Actually after watching it and watching Fleury, someone needs to check Fleurys vision. Dude shoots pucks into forwards knees five feet away. Then he didn't see Kozari? Weird Kozari didnt look over his shoulder but how did Fleury not see him? Rough. Feel bad for both but hot damn Fleury.

Very scary moment. Wish him a full recovery (and to Fleury as well if he's also injured). Always kind of weird to watch games after serious incidents like this.
