I would love to see that happen but I would almost prefer for Tatar to get the hatty. he needs the exposer more. outside of the people who watch the prospects or even kind of look into them dont remember him

Idk Gus netting a hat-trick would be a huge FU Babs and KH

I would mix those team a bit. :)

Red Wings:

Franzen - Zetterberg - Brunner
Bertuzzi - Datsyuk - Mursak
Cleary - Filppula - Samuelsson
Miller - Abdelkader - Tootoo

Kronwall - Ericsson
Kindl - White
Billins - Evans

Gustavsson
(Mrazek)

Griffins mixed team:

Tatar - Sheahan - Nyquist
Jurco - Emmerton - Ferraro
Callahan - Aubry - Knuble
Nestrasil - Raedeke - Parkes

Emmerton takes the spot of Andersson and Knuble stunts Pare. AHL-only-contracted Hoggan and Clendening out.

Quincey - Smith
Lashoff - Almqvist
Paetsch - Nicastro

Howard
(McCollum)

Eaves, Andersson, Pare, Helm, Colaiacovo are injured?

I like that idea, just not the lines. I think I'd start Howard for GR and Gustavsson for DET, then maybe Detroit defense for GR and obviously GR defense for DET. Forwards I keep the same. Maybe put the guys that will be extras on Detroit with GR.

That's a good idea. Like that Howard gets more pucks on net. Don't think they'll do this though, since they want to build chemistry (on special teams for example or on the PK) as soon as possible.

Is this kosher? Are other teams doing something like this?

I'll give it a watch regardless...

Sure, why not. Friendly little scrim between two teams on GR's offday. Just like how some players trained together when the lockout was still ongoing.

How much are tickets or is the game free?

I was under the impression that it would be free.

I was also thinking about going to check it out, but being that it's going to be televised I might just decide to stay home. I was really tempted to head down there today to check out practice as well.

The game is tonight! Much happier to see it's a red/white game and not Wings vs. Griffins as was first reported. I think everybody here can rest easy that there's an equal opportunity for each player and this scrimmage could help us get a better look at who is who right now in the organization. Soooo much talk for OVER 8 MONTHS... glad to not only watch my team but see what individuals have got that spark. Hey I also hope Nyquist and Tatar can put on a show and wow us all. Cool that Mursak is lined up with Z and Brunner. Red team is stacked!

What's the current status of Knuble? He is a camp invitee, isn't he?

Gruß,
BSHH

Looks like he's taking Samuelsson's spot for the game and Mursak is taking over for Datsyuk. They pushed the bottom 6 centers up one spot to cover for Helm.

I'll try to find a stream since I doubt any legit sources will show it. I have to stay up since I have a fantasy hockey draft so hopefully something is available.
